Captain Vegetable!

I present to you the one and only Captain Vegetable.

Herein explains his character:

Additionally, this page has the lyrics to his song regarding carrots and celery:

SOME people didn't believe me that he existed or that he was the coolest pro-vegetable superman rabbit out there.

By Blogger Andrew, at 11:16 am

  • yes, I think that we are doing dinner and you (that is, your mother and gran) is doing dessert. Any suggestions though?

By Blogger amy, at 11:17 am

  • I think Andrew really really likes brussel sprouts, and liver, and kidneys, and a general offal side dish to accompany it...

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 11:35 am

  • I am not cooking any offal.

brussel sprouts I can do however

By Blogger amy, at 11:37 am

  • Lies! Awful lies.

    Geez, I don't know.
    Something New Zealandy I guess.

Kirsty (or anyone) - what am I going to miss the most?

By Blogger Andrew, at 11:40 am

  • Like Bacon and egg pie and kumara?

    Wat else is New Zealandy

By Blogger amy, at 11:41 am

  • At a guess I would say lamb, beetroot, cheerios... errr....

By Blogger Andrew, at 11:43 am

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 11:44 am

  • I'm going to a wedding in Scotland whilst I am away.

So no haggis is needed before I leave!

By Blogger Andrew, at 11:47 am

  • i refuse to cook haggis

what i am basically looking for is something with as little meat handling as possible

By Blogger amy, at 11:48 am

  • hehe and i was trying to think of the most disgusting meaty things! mostly to annoy andrew... :)

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 11:53 am

  • Meat is not annoying!

I can never stay mad at meat.

By Blogger Andrew, at 11:56 am

  • i can

By Blogger amy, at 12:02 pm

  • You vegetarians are so hateful.

By Blogger Andrew, at 12:06 pm

  • no no, i'm annoying, the meat is just my tool of annoyance

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 12:07 pm

  • I knew there was purple in that rabbit!

What are you going to miss...

Actually I really missed fish and chips because the UK ones were all like cooked in beef fat.

I will think on something more suitable.

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 12:29 pm

  • i think i will take a jar of marmite with me, but I just looked and you can get crunchie bars in canada

By Blogger amy, at 12:34 pm

  • not that i eat that many of them anyway but you just never know when you will get a craving

By Blogger amy, at 12:35 pm

  • I am going to shy away from all food importation.

You never know what might get their hackles up.

By Blogger Andrew, at 12:51 pm

  • surely marmite in my checked in baggage will be ok

By Blogger amy, at 1:18 pm

  • there are heaps of kiwi/aussie shops in the UK with familiar food. Sorry Amy I dont know about Canada - but I bet you find something!

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 3:04 pm

  • yeah, I am sure i will too

By Blogger amy, at 3:48 pm

  • I think you will miss fejoas or however they are spelt.

I also think you will miss me. But don't eat me!

By Blogger Mindy, at 8:15 am

  • I was really busy at work yesterday, could you tell? ;)

By Blogger Mindy, at 8:15 am

  • I don't know that I have ever eaten a fejoa so I think I will be ok. Pavalovas on the other hand. Not that I have them often at all but they are one of my very top foods. I think I may try and make one before I go so if I am desperate over there I can make one.
